“AMAC is one of the six area councils in the FCT and one of the councils benefitting from IHVN.

“It peculiarity is hinged on certain factors which included its high population growth, among others.

“With your support we will continue to maintain and improve the quality of HIV care in our facilities and communities,’’ she said.

Dr Oche Yusuf, Associate Director, IHVN, explained that the HCT mobile van would aid officers to access people in areas that are not easily accessible.

Yusuf further noted that the Hilux van would further assist them to move around, mentor staff and further build their capacity.

“The mobile van will help us get to these patients that cannot get to the facilities, get their samples so that they can have their viral loads taken and tested in the lab.

“We will channel them to the lab where it will be further analysed among others,’’
