A new photo of popular martial artist, Jet Li has sent shivers across the globe after it was shared on the internet.
The 55-year-old Li, who was photographed at a temple in Tibet, looked like a man 10 or 15 years older than his real age in the disturbing photos.
Long known for his boyish looks and captivating martial art skills, the photo immediately led to speculations that the celebrated martial artist was ill.
The South China Morning Post reported on Saturday that fans were “praying for his health” following the emergence of the disturbing photo.
His manager, Steven Chasman, was quoted by Washington Post as saying that the former national wushu champion was suffering from hyperthyroidism.
Chasman confirmed that Li had been battling the condition for 10 years.
“He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it,” he said.

Decent human being Matt Damon, 47, has supposedly perished in an untimely death brought about by mobs of angry #MeToo supporters, according to director Terry Gilliam. In an interview with AFP, Gilliam boldly shines a spotlight on the horrifying plight of the powerful and popular actor. “I feel sorry for someone like Matt Damon, who is a decent human being,” Gilliam says of those original statements. “He came out and said all men are not rapists, and he got beaten to death. Come on, this is crazy!”
Despite his wife’s sensible advice to “keep [his] head a bit low” when it comes to saying the least useful thing at the worst possible time, Gilliam continues to spew complaints about the survivors of assault and abuse who have stepped forward as part of the #MeToo movement. After insisting that “people have got to take responsibility for their own selves,” and that “I know enough girls who were in Harvey’s suites who were not victims and walked out,” he simultaneously compares the increasing sense of accountability and intolerance for the endemic problem of sexual abuse and assault to a crazed, pitchfork-wielding mob attacking innocent monsters.
“The mob is out there, they are carrying their torches and they are going to burn down Frankenstein’s castle,” he says. Gilliam adds there is “no intelligence anymore,” though he appears to be speaking about the recent backlash against sexual predators, not Damon’s “not all men”-style comments. The real predators, Gilliam suggests, might be the women on the receiving end of the terrifying campaigns of sexual coercion by powerful Hollywood men. “It is a world of victims,” he says. “I think some people did very well out of meeting with Harvey and others didn’t. The ones who did knew what they were doing. These are adults, we are talking about adults with a lot of ambition.” Humans, he elaborates helpfully, “are physical creatures.”
And then there’s Damon, who was criticized for his tone-deaf comments about the “spectrum” of sexual behavior — and subsequently apologized, admitting that “I really wish I’d listened a lot more before I weighed in on this” — which in Gilliam’s mind, is the equivalent of a brutal murder. While plenty of people on the internet have claimed to die of embarrassment, this would make Damon the first star to have died from criticism. Truly, we are living in a world of victims.

‘Ask your wife to stop calling me.’ actor, Alec Baldwin, slams Donald Trump
President Donald Trump is no stranger to playing television critic for Saturday Night Live. This time he took aim at “Alex” Baldwin’s impression of him.
In a since deleted tweet, Trump remarked, “Alex Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing DJT was agony for him. Alex, it was also agony for those who were forced to watch. You were terrible. Bring back Darrell Hammond, much funnier and a far greater talent!”
Trump deleted the tweet and later reposted the comment, correcting Alex Baldwin to Alec Baldwin and cleaning up his “dieing” error to “dying.”

Baldwin, Alec not Alex, responded through his foundation’s Twitter account with a grim prediction of the President’s future writing, “Agony though it may be, I’d like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride to Mara-A-Lago. You know. The Good Stuff. That we’ve all been waiting for.” Baldwin added that the President should ask First Lady Melania Trump to stop asking for Saturday Night Live tickets.

Baldwin began regularly delivering his impression of Trump on Saturday Night Live in 2016, taking over for announcer Hammond during the premiere of the show’s 42nd season with a cold open skit about the first presidential debate.
Trump previously called the show “unwatchable” saying Baldwin’s impersonation “just can’t get any worse.”

The actor admitted that his career suffered a decline after the end of his romantic relationship with Lopez. It however took a better turn following experiments in movie directing.
Hollywood actor, Ben Affleck, has revealed that his career suffered a decline, following his split from singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez.
Affleck made this known on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, during a chat on “Any Given Wednesday“ , hosted by Bill Simmons .
He said, “If you went by what people said … I wasn’t cool and I wasn’t talented, and I was, like, the lowest rung of cool and talented that you could possibly be in the public consciousness at that time,”
“I had broken up with Jennifer Lopez and I had, like, three or four movies in a row that had bombed.”
The actor also added that he became a comic muse for comedian, Robert Wuhl , who made him the subject of a United Airline clip.
This prompted him to consider a new path in movie directing, as such personalities are taken more seriously.
Guess what? It worked!
“So that guy had to look around and go, ‘Who’s below me that I can s–t on?’ And he picked me. He did a whole bit about me that I saw on United Airlines and I [thought], This is it, it really doesn’t get much worse than this,”
“That was where I found myself when I thought, Hey, I want to take up directing, which is for people that are taken seriously. That became my mantra — ‘I’m just going to work harder than everybody else.’”
Affleck went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture for his work in
“Argo” , a 2012 movie.
Other movies he directed include “The Town” and “Gone Baby Gone” .

Mark Salling Actor set to turn himself in following child pornography indictment
The actor’s apartment was invaded by the Internet Crimes Against Children LAPD task force in December 2015, following a tip-off concerning possession of child porn pictures, which were found on his laptop and some gadgets.
Former Glee actor, Mark Salling, is set to surrender himself to the law enforcement following his indictment in a child pornography case.
Salling was reported to have been caught in possession of child porn, found on his laptop, hard drive and a USB flash drive, by the Internet Crimes Against Children LAPD task force.
This led to his arrest in December 2015 after a tip-off, according to TMZ .
Salling’s involvement in child pornography has been met with huge consequences for his acting career, as he has now been removed as a cast in the upcoming film, “Gods and Secrets”.
According to Us Magazine , Adi Shankar, who is one of the directors of the movie, said Salling will be removed from the movie and his scenes reshot.
Shankar said, “I will personally be paying for the reshoots, and I hope that Mark finds inner peace,”
“Furthermore, a percentage of profits from the project will go to a charity for abused children.”
Child Pornography is considered a very serious crime in the United States of America, as it poses threats to the well-being of children.
Eileen M. Decker, a US Attorney, who spoke to Us Magazine, said, “Those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed.”
“Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed.”
Previous reports concerning Salling’s Child Pornography role said he was seen leaving Chase Bank on Thursday, June 2, 2016, with a $100,000 check made payable to the Clerk of the U.S. District Court.

A Samuel L. Jackson fan known as Fitz, went
on Twitter during the weekend and complained
of how he felt after the popular Hollywood actor
refused taking a selfie with him. He tweeted,
“That moment when you meet one of your
favorite actors & they are a complete d–k!” the
radio DJ simply known as Fitz wrote. “What an
arrogant punk! Right @SamuelLJackson ?”
The actor saw this tweet and clapped back,
saying the fan didn’t even say please before or
after he ‘politely’ declined the photo request.
“I refused the photo politely
@FollowFITZ then you spazzed out!”
Samuel responded. “Learn to say Please
& F–k you! Thanks for the Whitney
Snitch!” “I said thanks but no
@FollowFITZ, you said Aww C’mon, I’m
a big fan, me, sorry, you, I watch all your
movies but not anymore! Now

Two days after the Twitter encounter occurred,
Fitz took to Facebook to explain more about the
incident.
“I just had a big letdown of my life.
There was no altercation. There was no
situation,” he shared. “I just went on
Twitter and I told Samuel L. Jackson, hey
I couldn’t believe how you treated one of
your fans.” He added, “If you’re going to
be told ‘F you’ on Twitter by anybody, it’s
awesome if it’s done by Samuel L.
Jackson.”
